VenoNeedle® Small Vein RF Ablation System

VenoNeedle® Small Vein RF Ablation System

A low-power thermal system aimed at spider veins, telangiectasias, or small reticular varices with precise coagulation, avoiding large incisions or extended downtime.

Specialties

Plastic, Reconstructive & Laser DermatologyVenous

Key Features

  • Ultra-Thin Sizes (0.075 mm–0.15 mm OD): Facilitates precise target penetration while minimizing surrounding tissue damage, especially in facial, hand, or wrist areas.
  • Efficient Heat Delivery: Low-profile design delivers controlled RF energy, swiftly heating the vessel lumen to induce coagulation and closure.
  • Focused Thermal Coagulation: RF energy at 4 MHz penetrates superficially to target small vessels with limited injury to the epidermis or deeper structures.
  • Consistent Vessel Closure: The controlled thermal effect denatures vessel walls, leading to collateral absorption and improved deep venous flow.
  • Power Rating (% Display): Operators can fine-tune RF energy output based on lesion size, vessel diameter, and tissue characteristics.
  • Adjustable Pulse Width: Short, controllable pulses prevent excessive thermal spread, critical in delicate or cosmetically sensitive areas.

The ThermoBLOCK® – VenoNeedle® is an RF (radiofrequency) thermal coagulation solution designed to treat small-diameter veins—from 0.3 mm to 0.9 mm—within superficial or dermal vascular networks. By combining a mono-polar stainless steel needle with a high-frequency 4 MHz RF generator, ThermoBLOCK® aims to rapidly eliminate unwanted capillaries, telangiectasias, and minor varicosities with minimal discomfort and quick recovery.

Key Features

Mono-Polar Stainless Steel Needle

High-Frequency RF Output (4 MHz)
  • Focused Thermal Coagulation: RF energy at 4 MHz penetrates superficially to target small vessels with limited injury to the epidermis or deeper structures.
  • Consistent Vessel Closure: The controlled thermal effect denatures vessel walls, leading to collateral absorption and improved deep venous flow.
Adjustable Settings & Pulse Controls
  • Power Rating (% Display): Operators can fine-tune RF energy output based on lesion size, vessel diameter, and tissue characteristics.
  • Adjustable Pulse Width: Short, controllable pulses prevent excessive thermal spread, critical in delicate or cosmetically sensitive areas.
Ergonomic System & User Feedback
  • Operation Time Tracking: Built-in timer logs each session, simplifying monitoring of ablation times and procedure durations.
  • Shot Counter & Audible/Light Warning: Alerts the practitioner to the number of pulses delivered, enhancing safety and procedural accuracy.
Minimal Discomfort & Quick Recovery
  • No Sutures or Tumescent: Usually requires no anesthesia beyond minimal local infiltration or none at all, offering a near pain-free experience.
  • Immediate Vein Closure: Results are often visible immediately, with minimal post-treatment bruising or downtime.

Clinical Advantages & Applications

Small Vessel Varicosities
  • Capillaries & Telangiectasias: Typically 0.3 mm to 0.9 mm in diameter—often found on the face, legs, hands, or arms.
  • Dermal Vascular Stasis: ThermoBLOCK® and VenoNeedle® tackle superficial stasis that can hamper deeper venous flow, encouraging faster perfusion improvement.
Cosmetic Improvement
  • Fewer Procedure Sessions: Rapid closure of unsightly veins, providing patients with prompt aesthetic satisfaction.
  • No Incisions or Scarring: The fine needle approach avoids surgical incisions, lowering infection risk and scarring potential.
High Efficiency & Safety
  • Localized Heat Delivery: Minimizes injury to collateral tissues and nerve structures while optimizing vessel occlusion.
  • Real-Time Control: Audible and visual pulses keep operators informed of energy delivery, preventing overtreatment.
Portable & Easy Setup
  • RF Generator: Lightweight, user-friendly interface for quick calibration of power and pulse duration.
  • Minimal Consumables: Eliminates complex disposables; the stainless steel needle remains stable with repeated use (subject to labeling and sterilization guidelines).
