Editorial Policy & Medical Review Process

Every clinical and educational article published on invamed.com follows a defined editorial process designed to make this site a dependable reference for healthcare professionals, patients, researchers, and the search and AI systems that cite it.

Who writes and reviews our content

  • AuthorshipAll clinical content is prepared by the INVAMED Medical Affairs team — biomedical engineers, clinical specialists, and regulatory scientists with more than 20 years of combined experience in medical device development and clinical evaluation.
  • ReviewBefore publication, each article is reviewed for clinical accuracy, terminology, and alignment with current peer-reviewed literature. Articles display their review attribution and last update date.

Our sourcing rules

  • Verifiable sources onlyNumeric claims — study outcomes, sample sizes, success rates — are entered from verifiable published sources. Entries in our Clinical Evidence Library that await source verification are clearly marked and exclude all numeric data until confirmed.
  • Primary literature firstWe prioritize peer-reviewed journals, published registries, and recognized clinical guidelines. Where we cite a study of an INVAMED technology, we link the original publication by DOI.

What we deliberately do not do

  • No certification claimsNo content on this website should be understood as a representation that any particular product holds any particular certification, clearance, or registration in any particular market. Regulatory status varies by country; please contact INVAMED for information applicable to your region.
  • No medical adviceEducational content does not replace the clinical judgment of qualified healthcare professionals or the product Instructions for Use.
  • No undisclosed promotionProduct-related content is directed at licensed healthcare professionals and is identified as manufacturer-provided information.

Corrections and updates

  • Continuous reviewContent is re-reviewed when significant new evidence emerges. Each article carries its publication and last-update dates in both the visible page and its structured data.
  • CorrectionsTo report an inaccuracy, contact the Medical Affairs team through our contact page. Verified corrections are applied to the article and its translations.
