Sternal fixation restores the sternum after median sternotomy. Proper fixation reduces sternal dehiscence, mediastinitis risk, and post-operative pain. Titanium plate systems provide rigid fixation superior to traditional wire cerclage, especially in high-risk patients.

Venous cannulae drain blood from the right atrium or vena cava to the bypass circuit. Arterial cannulae return oxygenated blood to the aorta. Available in single-stage, dual-stage venous, and straight/curved arterial configurations for CPB and ECMO.

After median sternotomy for cardiac or thoracic surgery, proper sternal closure is critical for healing. Titanium plate fixation systems provide rigid stabilization superior to wire cerclage, reducing dehiscence and infection risk.

Lead extraction systems remove chronically implanted pacemaker and ICD leads that are infected, malfunctioning, or need upgrading. Both mechanical (locking stylets, dilator sheaths) and laser (excimer) approaches are available for safe extraction.

VV ECMO drains and returns blood within the venous system to support the lungs while the heart still pumps; VA ECMO returns blood to the arterial system to support both heart and lungs. The configuration matches the failing organ.
