AngioHAND Cathéter d'élimination des caillots
A manipulé à la main dispositif d'aspiration mécanique permettant une extraction de caillots par le biais d'un manuel simplifiant ainsi les procédures de thrombectomie aiguë.
The AngioHAND Clot Removal Catheter by Invamed is a hand-operated mechanical aspiration system designed to immediately remove thrombi or emboli during acute vascular occlusions. Featuring braided balloon-shaped structures, the catheter actively captures clots and pulls them into the lumen, enabling safe, streamlined thrombectomy without complex capital equipment or continuous vacuum lines. Ideal for distal or proximal arterial/venous clots, AngioHAND simplifies acute stroke, limb ischemia, or DVT management.
Braided Balloon-Shaped Capture
- Expandable mesh or braided balloon segments at the distal tip engage and enclose clot mass, guiding it into the catheter lumen.
- Ensures robust clot entrapment without excessive fragmentation or distal embolization.
Manual Vacuum Mechanism
- Operated by a hand-held syringe-like device or integrated handle, creating a controlled negative pressure to aspirate clot into the catheter shaft.
- Minimizes procedural complexity—no large vacuum pumps—offering immediate aspiration capacity at the bedside or in urgent OR settings.
Rapid & Intuitive Thrombectomy
- Inserted percutaneously via a small arterial or venous access; navigated under fluoroscopic guidance to the occlusion site.
- One-hand manipulation of the aspiration handle triggers vacuum and clot removal in real-time, optimizing speed and efficiency.
Enhanced Safety & Vessel Protection
- Balloon-shaped braids gently expand against the vessel walls, preventing the catheter tip from causing undue trauma.
- Reduces the risk of iatrogenic injuries and maintains patency around the extraction zone for improved patient outcomes.
Multiple Clinical Indications
- Acute ischemic stroke retrieval in cerebral arteries (depending on vessel diameter and regulatory approvals).
- Peripheral arterial occlusions (e.g., acute limb ischemia, popliteal thrombosis) or venous thrombi (DVT).
- Use in emergent or elective procedures where fast mechanical clot extraction is paramount.
