Venöse Stents

Dedicated venous stents are designed specifically for venous anatomy with higher crush resistance, greater flexibility, and larger diameters than arterial stents. They accommodate the lower-pressure, higher-volume venous system and resist external compression.

Venous stenting is indicated for iliofemoral venous outflow obstruction from May-Thurner syndrome (iliac vein compression), post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS), chronic venous occlusion, and IVC obstruction including Budd-Chiari syndrome.
