MultiBEAM Embolization Plug
A multisided plug device for vascular or aneurysmal occlusion, achieving reliable embolization in peripheral or saccular expansions with minimal migration.
Controlled and Trustworthy Procedure
- As an alternative to surgery, embolization plug provides percutaneous closure of intestinal bleeding via catheter in Pelvic, Varicocele, Endoleak, TARE and Peripheral Aneurysms.
- The MultiBEAM Embolization Plug stands as a premier choice for practitioners in need of a reliable and precise occlusion device.
- Crafted from top-tier, biocompatible materials, this plug ensures both patient safety and procedural success.
Exact Occlusion, Optimal Outcomes
- Designed for rapid deployment and accurate placement, the MultiBEAM Embolization Plug provides effective occlusion, controlling bleeding andpreventing blood flow to targeted areas with unmatched precision. Its compatibility with standard cathetersystems further enhances its user-friendly nature, ensuring a smooth procedural flow.
- With this method, unwanted and unexpected complications can be prevented and the hospital stay can be shortened compared to surgery. At the same time, the mortalityand morbidity rate is lower than the surgical method.
Set the Standard in Vascular Control
- Consisting of nitinol wires that expand and take shape on their own, centering the defect.
- The shape memory of nitinol, an alloy of nickel and titanium.
- Filled with special fibers that trigger thrombosis formation.
- Available in diameters from 4 to 16 mm and is suitable for occlusion of arteries from 2.6 to 6.2 mm.
- Delivered via a 4F or 5F catheter (0.038″ inner diameter lumen)

WHY MultiBEAM?
- Designed to overcome many of the disadvantages of devices previously used as spigots.
- Self-centering prosthesis and extends radially beyond the defect, resulting in a much smaller overall size than any other device.
- Reliable centering mechanism.
- The nitinol mesh structure has optimal echogenicity, allowing the device to be easily seen in short-axis and longitudinal views.
- Due to its super-elastic properties, the nitinol frame of the device retains its initial shape even when deployed several times.
- Reduces the risk of thromboembolic events.
MultiBEAM vascular plug applied by transcatheter method provides great benefit instead of surgical treatment in suitable patients due to its high success, low complication rates and easy applicability.
- Wasily delivered to the target in difficult curved anatomy.
- Shortens procedure time and radiation exposure.
- Provides rapid embolization even in high-flow vessels.
- Designed for precise insertion, controlled delivery and full easy retraction
Peripheral Embolization
The system used in therapeutic embolization to reduce or block blood flow has become an important option to surgical treatment in percutaneous closure of the indication area without compressing vital structures.
However, if it cannot be placed because it puts pressure on these vital structures, it can be removed without harming the patient.

PROCEDURE
- The device size should be chosen to be equal to or 1 mm smaller than the area where it is planned to be placed.
- It is advanced transvenously through a 5F diameter guide sheath and delivery is ensured.
- It should be placed under fluoroscopy or ultrasound guidance.
- It is released when its position becomes optimal.
- The nitinol structure acts as an embolic agent that promotes rapid clot formation.
- Creates a physical barrier to blood flow by initiating both the body’s immune response and a natural clotting process
