CytroFIX Cannulated Screws

High-Purity Titanium Screws for Streamlined Percutaneous Fixation

CytroFIX Cannulated Screws by Cytronics (an Invamed orthopedic brand) are expertly designed to facilitate precise, minimally invasive fixation in a range of orthopedic procedures. Manufactured from high-purity titanium, these screws exhibit excellent biocompatibility, radiographic clarity, and mechanical performance—making them ideal for scenarios where guide wire insertion and percutaneous surgical approaches are preferred. From small joint arthrodeses to interfragmentary fixation, CytroFIX Cannulated Screws offer the stability surgeons need for improved bone healing and patient outcomes.

Cannulated Core Design

The central cannulation permits the use of guide wires, enabling percutaneous or limited open techniques. This design simplifies screw placement, reduces intraoperative complexity, and helps maintain fracture reduction during insertion.

Engineered from Ti-6Al-4V ELI or similar titanium alloys, providing optimal strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and reduced risk of metal sensitivity or allergic reactions.

Available in partial-thread or full-thread variants, allowing for compression across fracture sites or continuous thread engagement in specific arthrodeses or bone fixation scenarios.

Customizable to various anatomies—small, medium, or large joints—enabling broad usage across foot, ankle, wrist, or other anatomical regions demanding guide-wire-based fixation.

Standard cannulated cortical or cancellous threads offered, and in some lines, a locking head variant for advanced stability in osteopenic or comminuted fractures. (Availability may differ by region.)

Active infection at the intended surgical site, insufficient bone stock, or medical conditions rendering the patient ineligible for orthopedic surgery.
