Produced to relieve pain and limited joint mobility complaints due to degenerative knee lesions and other synovial joints

Advantages

  • Easy to Use
  • Possibility of treatment at home
  • Painless and routine procedure
  • Significant reduction in pre-treatment complaints
  • Improved quality of life

It is a balanced combination of chondroitin sulfate, sodium hyaluronate, and calcium chloride for intravesical use. It acts by temporarily covering the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer of the bladder, the surface of the transitional epithelium with a protective layer of chondroitin sulfate, which promotes recovery of the natural impermeable barrier function. It helps to relieve pain and reduce the frequency and urgency of urination. It causes a series of health problems that lead to the onset of various types of cystitis (eg, interstitial cystitis, infection-induced recurrent cystitis, antitumor-induced cystitis, radiation-induced cystitis, traumatic cystitis). It is a balanced combination of sodium hyaluronate, chondroitin sulfate, and calcium chloride. With the effect of calcium chloride in its content, it integrates functionally into the barrier and reorganizes the protective function of the barrier.

Detailed specifications

Conditions of Use

  • Interstitial cystitis
  • Painful bladder syndrome
  • Recurrent urinary tract infections
  • Chemical/radiation induced cystitis (including BCG)

It is the first intravesical GAG replacement therapy to combine chondroitin sulfate, one of the most abundant sulfated GAG molecules found in the bladder wall, with hyaluronic acid, the most integral component of the GAG layer. This combination is designed to facilitate faster and more effective restoration of the bladder epithelium.

How does it work?

A healthy bladder has a natural barrier that protects the bladder lining from urine. This barrier is called the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer. If this barrier is damaged, urine comes into direct contact with the tissues of the bladder lining and can damage these tissues over time.

This damage can lead to a range of problems that cause symptoms such as pain, urgency (the need to go to the toilet right away) and frequency (the need to go to the toilet more often). VitaFLEX contains two of the natural GAGs that make up this barrier; hyaluronic acid (HA) and chondroitin sulfate (CS). By applying VitaFLEX directly to the bladder, these GAGs help repair damage to the GAG layer and relieve these symptoms by restoring the bladder's protective coating.

What is interstitial cystitis?

Interstitial cystitis is chronic (long-term) inflammation (irritation) of the bladder wall. It results in recurrent discomfort or pain in the bladder and surrounding pelvic area, along with the frequent and urgent need to urinate, and the patient usually produces only a small amount of urine.

What causes interstitial cystitis?

It is generally believed to have several different causes. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) may be partially responsible, but another possibility is damage to the bladder's waterproof lining, possibly from something originating in the bladder (such as a defect in bladder tissue). This defect can allow substances in the urine to weaken tissues or cause sores.

What does the treatment include?

• a thin tube called a catheter is passed through the urethra (the tube through which urine passes) into the bladder.

• The remaining urine is drained and then 50 ml of VitaFLEX solution is added to your bladder via the catheter.

• The catheter is then removed leaving the solution inside your bladder and covers the bladder wall.

ALSO

With this treatment method, which is easy to use, you can apply the treatment to yourself at home.

For Best Results;

It should be kept in the bladder for at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours.

• While the solution is in the bladder, drinking large amounts should be avoided so that the solution is as concentrated as possible to make it as effective as possible.
