Stena Intracranial Multi-Layer Flow Modulator

A multilayer flow-diverting construct for intracranial aneurysms, redirecting blood flow away from the aneurysm sac while maintaining essential branch perfusion.

Il Stent Neurovascular Multilayer Flow Modulator è un multi-layer, self-expandable implant designed to redirect blood flow across intracranial aneurysms or pseudoaneurysms (saccular, fusiform, or dissection). Constructed from nitinol braided wires, this flow-guided device harnesses hemodynamic modulation to promote stable aneurysm occlusion while preserving key vessel branches.

Multi-Layer Braided Nitinol Wires
  • Self-Expanding Implant: Adapts seamlessly to the host vessel, delivering gentle but consistent radial support.
  • Optimized Flow Modulation: Braided mesh design disperses hemodynamic forces, encouraging gradual aneurysm thrombosis without aggressively blocking perforator flow.
  • Excellent Visibility: Enhanced radiopacity simplifies device deployment and positioning under fluoroscopic guidance.
  • Continuous Vessel Coverage: The robust structure ensures stable wall apposition, helping minimize device migration or incomplete vessel coverage.
  • Size-Specific Microcatheters: Designed for use with 3.6F or 3.9F microcatheter (outer) and 2.3F internal microcatheter, ensuring preciso navigation and stent delivery.
  • Pre-Loaded Configuration: The stent is supplied pre-loaded on its dedicated delivery system, streamlining procedural workflow and minimizing device manipulation.
  • Percutaneous Arterial Approach: Minimizes invasive exposure by allowing stent introduction through small-caliber femoral or radial arteries.
  • Adaptive Vessel Conformance: The device maintains uniform radial force along irregular or tortuous intracranial segments, preserving branch patency.
