Horus Fiber Optic 300/500/600 Laser Probes by Invamed are designed to deliver precise and efficient laser photocoagulation treatments within the vitreous cavity, targeting wavelengths from 500 nm to 900 nm. Each probe utilizes fused-tip laser fibers that minimize ghosting and enable the surgeon to work closer to the retinal tissue, enhancing accuracy in delicate surgical scenarios such as retinal tears, diabetic retinopathy, or macular edema.

Fused Fiber Tip

Laser fibers are fused at the tip, reducing internal reflections or “ghosting” that can compromise beam quality. This design ensures high-quality energy transmission and the ability to operate very close to the retina without dispersing or scattering the laser.

Utilizing medical-grade silica fibers, Horus Laser Probes support consistent photocoagulation performance across 500–900 nm wavelengths, addressing a range of retinal pathologies.

The low-profile, flexible probe shaft allows smooth insertion through small-gauge cannulas (e.g., 23G, 25G, 27G), preserving ocular structures and reducing surgical trauma.

Adaptable to common ophthalmic laser systems (argon, diode, green, red, yellow), meeting the photocoagulation demands in retina clinics and ambulatory surgery centers.
